Overview
Triumph Tiger 800 is the sport motor cycle aimed towards adventurer or traveler and is manufactured by the British manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles. Triumph released Triumph Tiger 800 in 2010 along with more off road sibling Tiger 800 XC. Tiger 800 is powered by 799cc capacity 3-cylinder engine with a total of 12 valves (4 in each cylinder) with DOHC configuration. It consists of a multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection as its fuel injection system. The engine includes 74 mm diameter bore with 61.9mm stroke. The maximum power generated by its engine id 97HP at 9500 rpm and torque of up to 79Nm at 8050rpm. To control the power, it uses a 6-speed transmission box that is of manual type and clutch is a wet, multi-plate type.

Build
All those components are held together by its tubular steel trellis frame and includes showa upside down fork suspension with 180mm travel in the front and Showa mono shock suspension with 170mm travel. The rear suspension has a hydraulic adjustable preload to keep comfortable ride even in off-road travel. Braking system of the bike include a twin disc floating disc at the front wheel and single disc for rear wheel. It uses Nissin 2 piston sliding caliper together with its 308mm front brake and 255mm rear brake disc. The tyre for its wheel is of 100/90 ZR19 size for the front and 150/70 ZR17 sized tyre at the rear wheel.

All the components put together results in dimension of 2212 mm x 795mm x 1350mm in length, width and height respectively for this bike. The weight of this bike totals to 199kg on empty fuel and 210kg on full tank. Its seat height stand at from 810mm to 830mm tall using its adjustable seat.
