Description of KTM Duke 125:
KTM Duke, a heart throbbing bike of most youth, has launched its much-awaited Duke 125 in Nepalese market on the premium price of Rs. 4,49,900. It is the most powerful 125cc liquid-cooled engine offered on sale in the market. Duke 125 features are much similar to 200 Duke.
KTM Duke 125 is the first 125cc bike that actually features the aluminum swingarm, WP sourced USD forks upfront and a monoshock unit at the rear end. Otherwise, it shares the same design wheels, and headlight as the 200 Duke. However, the smaller version of Duke, KTM-Duke 125 gets an all-new graphic design with the bold 125 decals on the fuel tank and rides on 17-inches alloys.
Engine Specification:
It has 125 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, Otto four-stroke engine that delivers 11 kW at 9500 rpm (15 hp) and has a torque of 12 Nm at 8000 rpm with 6-speed transmission gear-box. Thus, it can run with only 11 km/hr maximum speed. But, it provides 40-45 kmpl of mileage which is far better than other Duke bikes.
Transmission Specification:
Ktm Duke 125 is made of disc and wheel base is 1357 + 15.5 mm. Also, the bike gets 300mm front and a 230mm rear disc along with the single-channel ABS. And, It weighs around 145 kg and has ground clearance of 175mm.
Conclusion:
It is all fine in the performance of KTM Duke 125. But, on the basis of performance and engine, the price is said to be higher than predicted. If people find it in lower price, then this bike would have been suitable to buy for.
