New KTM 390 Adventure and 250 Adventure bikes are about to launch in Nepal along with some Husqvarna bikes such as Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 and 401.
KTM 390 Adventure
KTM officially unveiled the 390 Adventure at the 2019 India Bike Week in Goa so there is no doubt that the bike will be launching in Nepali showrooms as well. The bike is set to launch the off-roader in January 2020.
The bike is powered by a 373-cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine similar to the KT3 390 Duke. The motor puts out 43.5 PS maximum power and 37 Nm peak torque, and is mated to a 6-speed transmission. This Adventure 390 model, however, has an expensive price tag at Rs. 2.48 lakhs in India. That means this model will cost around Rs. 8 lakhs in Nepal.

KTM 250 Adventure
The KTM 250 Adventure is one of the entry level adventure bikes from the manufacturers themselves. The distributors have planned to bring the bike for the launch in 2020.
The 250 Adventure will have a 248.8-cc motor similar to the KTM 250 Duke, which produces a power of 30 PS and a torque of 24 NM. The price of the bike will be very competitively priced but it will have few compromises in terms of the equipment compared to its previously discussed upcoming bigger sibling, the 390 Adventure.
Husqvarna Vitpilen 250
The Swedish motorcycle manufacturer which is owned by the KTM AG group has planned to introduce its production in Nepal as well since it will be launching India very soon. Most of the bike’s components are similar to the KTM 250 Duke, that includes a 248.8-cc engine.
The bike will cost around Rs. 5.51 lakhs when it launches in the Nepal showrooms, which is actually not that bad.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 250
The previously discussed Vitpilen is a cafe racer bike but the Svartpilen is actually a scrambler model. The Svartpilen tend to have a more powerful engine than the Vitpilen model.
The Svartpilen 250 twins will be launched in the early next year (2020). Bajaj is the company that will be the main retailer for the Husqvarna motorcycles in Nepal, since it is the case in India.
