Motorcycle & Engine division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, situated in Japan, manufactured Kawasaki Versys 650. This bike is aimed for adventurer although providing balance and handling like a street motorcycle making Versys 650 a capable and versatile bike for enthusiast riders.

Power for this bike is delivered by its 649cc capacity liquid cooled parallel twin engine able to generate maximum power of 69bhp at 8500 rpm and peak torque of 64Nm at 7000 rpm. To control the power from engine it uses a 6-speed manual gearbox accompanied by wet, multiplate clutch.
Build and Design
Kawasaki Versys 650 comes equipped with diamond shaped tubular design hold together by high tensile strength steel making it a powerful rider for off-road travel. To support the body the front suspension included is a 41 mm upside-down telescopic fork with 150mm travel and rear mounts a Swingarm Unitrak with mono-shock that has 145mm travel for rear suspension resulting in a comfortable ride and handling. Both front and rear suspension can be tuned according to the rider’s preferences.
The overall dimension of Versys 650 measures up to 2165 mm x 840 mm x 1400 mm in terms of length, width and height. It comes with above average 170mm high ground clearance. Seat height stand at 845mm and wheelbase is 1415mm wide. The weight of this bike is 216kg when dry.
Wheel & Brakes
It features a sporty 17 inches wheel of incredible quality. It is equipped with tubeless tyres with front tyre of size 120/70-ZR17 and rear tyre of size 160/60-ZR17. To stop the wheel it uses two piston caliper for the Dual disc 300mm front brake and single piston caliper for single 250mm rear brake for solid grip.
Fuel and Electricals
With 21 liter of fuel tank supported by its 22km per liter mileage it can easily provide around 400km of ride in a single full tank. It uses 12V-10Ah battery.
