Description
Hero XPulse 200 ADV is priced at Rs. 97,000 for the carbureted version and Rs. 1.05 lakhs for fuel-injected model. The 200-cc offering shares its underpinnings with the Xtreme 200R in Hero MotoCorp’s line-up, but additional equipment is found to offer an improved capacity off-road.
The XPulse 200 is upgraded with a highly mounted mudguard, engine bash plate, swept-up exhaust and notch guard, which increases off-road capability. The bike has a 21-inch unit on the front wheel and an 18-inch wheel on the rear wrapped in dual-purpose peat tires.

Performance
Power comes from a 200-cc single-cylinder, 2-valve, air-cooled engine for 18.4 bhp and 17.1 Nm of peak torque. It has a fuel-injected version as well as XPulse 200. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike is suspended with long travel 37mm telescopic forks in front and a 10-step pre-load adjustable monoshock unit with 170mm travel.
Braking performance comes from a 276 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear with single-channel ABS as standard. The XPulse 200 FI weighs 154 kg, while the carb version is one kilogram lighter.
Hero has introduced a very special rally kit for XPulse 200, which according to Hero is expected to cost around Rs 50,000. The kit includes an adjustable suspension setup, knobby tires and revised Argos with increased ride height. You also get a lower sprocket set, which gives better low-end torque. To sweeten the deal, Hero is working on a deal where you can put an aftermarket exhaust on the bike.
The XPulse 200 features a raised front beak, sump guard, high-mounted exhaust, knobby tires and long-travel suspension, enhancing its adventure touring nature. On the feature front, the bike gets LED lights on both ends, a Bluetooth-enabled full-digital instrument cluster and a USB charging port.
