Introduction
Benelli is trying to compete in the entry level market of bikes. And they have done it by releasing Benelli TNT 25, which is their naked design series bike featuring single-cylinder engine unit with 4 valves per cylinder resulting in its lower price tag. This makes TNT 25 Benelli’s first-ever single-cylinder bike offering. It comes with a liquid-cooled 249cc capacity engine that delivers the highest power of 28.16bhp at 9800rpm and maximum torque of 21.61Nm at 8000rpm. The power is provided to the wheel by its 6-speed gearbox. With such configuration you can expect a decent performance riding this bike.
Fuel, Brakes and Wheel
Benelli TNT 25 provide 25km/L mileage and carries a 17L fuel tank with extra 3L reserve capacity. In terms of its braking system it features a hydraulic single disc brakes that is of 280mm and 240mm size in front and rear respectively. It also features 17 inches wheel size of alloy type. The front tyre size is of 110/70 – 17 (M) and rear tyre is 150/60 – 17 (M).
Build and features
Aesthetics of this bike is pretty good and brings a solid competition in this front by providing a red colored steel trellis frame. This gives the overall solid feel to the chassis. It weighs 159kg and has build specification of 208cm x 81cm x 112.5cm with 16cm of ground clearance.
The features of Benelli include digital speedometer, tripmeter and analogue tachometer. It also includes standard feature like gear indicator, fuel gauge, phillion seat, pillion grabrail, engage kill switch and tripmeter count.
Price and Competition
Benelli TNT 25 competes directly with the currently available Mahindra mojo and KTM Duke 200 and is available for around 4.5 lakhs.
